ART is the creative home furnishings network representing manufacturers, retailers, representatives and other individuals and companies interested in promoting and enhancing the market position of the home furnishings industry. Each year ART sponsors programs such as the ART conference, regional educational seminars, the ART card and the ARTS Awards.

About Sharon Davis

sharon-davis-artSharon Davis is an independent contractor serving as the executive director of Accessories Resource Team. She has held this position since 1993. The decorative accent and accent furniture industry association, better known as ART, co-produces the ARTS Awards with the Dallas Market Center, holds its own annual ART Conference and produces programming and events in all the major home furnishings markets.

Sharon is responsible for all including the day to day operation of the association. The event tally now stands at 23 ART Conferences, 26 ARTS Awards and more than 72 market events – all done with an army of volunteers. Sharon has served on several home furnishing industry boards including Gift for Life and has had the pleasure of working with some of the most innovative and creative decorative accent companies in thehome furnishings industry.

In addition to holding the executive director contract for ART, Sharon also produces events, meetings, warehouse events, marketing assistance and consulting with other companies inside and outside of the home furnishings industry.
